I strongly agree that virginity is not important in marriage!!
Firstly, lets define what is marriage? Marriage is one a man and a women decide to get into each others' life and taking care of each other and loving each other for all eternity. So, what is the point of finding a virgin who you don't even like?
Saying that virginity is important in marriage, isn't this implying that sex is important for marriage? What if your wife/husband already slept with another man/women before he/she met you? People do love more than one person. They may have loved another man/woman but it didn't turn out well for them to be together. All of us do make mistakes, so why let one simple mistake destroy something that would one day become your most cherished and trusted person?
I think it depends on what the person wants. Some want to keep their virginity marriage while others don't. Everyone has the right to choose who they want to be.
However, many people have regretted losing their virginity to the wrong person. You will never know how many partners your partner has had before you. You will never know if your partner has been infected with STDs/AIDS.
For some women, they probably want to wait till marriage to have sex. This is because they want to give their husband something they haven't given to any other men. They feel that sex is an important thing that they only want to share with their life partner. This can also prevent unneccessary worries about getting diseases like AIDs and STDs.
Personally, I strongly go against pre-marital sex. Why? You have trouble trusting your partner in the future. And I do believe that virginity is important in marriages. If everyone keeps their virginity until they were married, think about the decrease of the spreading of STDs.
If you've decided to save it for marriage, good for you. If you hadn't, it doesn't make you a bad person.
I agree that virginity is not important in marriage.
Firstly, marriage is all about taking care of each other and loving each other for the rest of the life. So, you have to find someone you would love and trust for the rest of your life and not someone who is a virgin.
What if you yourself is not a virgin, does that mean no one would want to get married with you? People would love more than one person in his/her life. They may have failed relationship in the past. They may be someone who likes to fool around in the past. However they have decided to settle down and start a family. So virginity is not important in marriage. Loving the one that you are going to marry is the most important of all.
firstly, marriage is about loving and trusting the person whom you marry no matter of their flaws and past.marriage is a new beginning for both parties.
if u love someone.u will accept their past and do not let the past hinder the relationship.thus if the lady loses her virginity, she should also have the right to get married and start her new beginning afresh.everyone makes mistakes and she should deserve forgiveness.
moreover in today society the kids are maturing at a faster pace.thus i think the mentality of the younger generation will soon change.it can easily be a norm that - virginity is just another plus point in marriage.
thus i agree that virginity is not important as marriage is about accepting each other flaws and past.everyone deserve to be forgiven and start afresh, learning from their mistake.
I strongly agree that virginity is not important in marriage.
A marriage is when a man and woman establish their decision to live as husband and wife happily with love and care. What does it have to do with the virgin of one? If that is the case, than the idea of marrying to the other is not pure. It is only when both really love and care for each other and decide to stay together for their whol life, then that is the real idea of marriage.
Besides, one can never know if the other has his/her virgin or not unless they have a medical report to proof that. By doing so, this is an action of not trusting one another.
I feel that marriage is about respect and having the love for each other to overcome anything.
The important things for marriage are commitment, trust, and respect for each other.
In the first place, to gain these factors, one must know the other partner well enough to begin a boy-girl relationship.
Whether or not the partner is virgin, if they have love for each other, nothing matters to them anymore.
Firstly, having a couple to commit with one another is a factor to have a good marriage. Virginity have nothing got to do with commitment. Committing with each other means to show love, care and concern. When they do commit with one another, whether or not the girl or guy is a virgin is not a matter.
Second factor would be trust. When they start trusting each other, what matters is their loyalty, not virginity. They should earn each other's trust before they go into discussing about marriage in the first place.
Therefore, virginity is not a thing important in a marriage but in fact the love and commitment they have for one another.
I personally feel that virginity is important to any marriages. Virginity at marriage shows people the values and purity that both the bride and the bridegroom embrace.
I think that Marriage holds more significance than just being together. Therefore, being a virgin at marriage just amplifies this significance of marriage being a sacred moment of two person's life.
Virginity, in my opinion is keeping the sanctity of the marriage and thus once again I must say that it is important that both bride and bridegroom should not be engaging in any pre-marital sex activity
Furthermore, the advantage of being a virgin at marriage will ensure that both parties are AIDS-free under normal circumstance and they can be rest assured that their children will not contract sex-related diseases.
When a woman is still a virgin when she is married to the man, this shows that she respects the man as she does not play around foolishly, misusing her virginity. Furthermore, this shows that she loves and cherishes herself.
Furthermore, my Biology teacher once told me that a man loves a woman who respects herself, thus, when he is married to a woman who is still a virgin, he will feel fortunate and thus he will appreciate her more because of this.
I also agree with Cai Jing that misunderstandings may occur when a woman is not a virgin before she marrys. The man may be afraid that she has contracted AIDS or some other related diseases. Although this is not quite likely to happen as the couples have to undergo check-ups before they marry but tell me, who is not afraid of this at all?
Thus, I strongly make my stand that virginity is important in marriage as this is a most beautiul moment shared between the couple.
Virginity is important in marriage. i feel that virginity is extremely important as it builds trust between the wife and the husband, in a sexual way. It gives the couple this extra bond and it makes that wedding night a more special night rather then just another session of human satisfaction.
For women, sex or giving away their virginity is a very special thing and should only be given away to their life partners.
therefore, i feel that virginity is important in marriage.
I agree that virginity is not important in a marriage.
Does it matter if one is not a virgin before she get married? Is there any rule that says that one cannot get married because one is not a virgin? Getting married is because two people love each other and that they are ready to be part of each other life. Virginity in a marriage is just a plus point for the couple.
Even if your partner is not a virgin and that he/she may have STD, he/she can just walk in to any hospital or clinics to have a checkup for any STD.
Therefore i agree that virginity is not important in a marriage but a plus point for a marriage.
In my own point of view, i think that virginity is not very important in marriage.
Firstly, both parties agree to get marry is because they love each other and believe that they are the on whom they are going to spend their life with.if we truly love a person, we wont care whether he/she is a virgin at all.
Finding the one you love is already very harder and finding the one whom you love and is a virgin is even harder especially in this new society where many teen couldnt resist the tempatation and control themselves.
would you give up a person that u like just because he/she is not a virgin. if the answer is yes , then i must say the love bond is not strong.
Losing a virgin doesnt mean that he/she will not be faithful in his/her next relationship. he/she may have lost virgin beacause he/she thought they were the one but it turn out to be wrong.even if she/he lose her virgin, she could pratice absentism to remain faithful.
thus i think that virginity is not important in marriage at all as marriage in accepting each other past and live together loving and protecting each other.
i agree that virginity is not important in marriage.
like eden said, marriage is one a man and a women decide to get into each others' life and taking care of each other and loving each other for all eternity.
in this case, why even care whether your partner is a virgin or not. would it ever affect how loving you two would be? if that's the case then i think it wouldn't be true love..
virginity means the first time of a man/woman, but it does not mean that you would certainly be giving it to your lifetime partner.
also, in my opinion, there is no telling who would be the lifetime partner of anyone.. even after marriage, there might be some problems and leading to divorce.
in this case, if either one of the party would like to re-marry again, you would consider the point of virginity being important in the second marriage again?
I strongly agree that virginity is not important in marriage. Marriage is between a man and a woman. As long as they love each other i don't think other things would be significant compared to their love.
If virginity is important and man won't marry woman that is not a virgin, that would be very unfair to those victims of rape cases.

Virginity indicate that before marriage this girl was purified, she
did not do her indulgence.
For a man ,he hopes his wife belong to himself for ever. The man care the past, now, future of his wife
thus, I strongly think that virginity is very important in marriage.
